Is This Course Suitable for My Child?

The ALBION A-Level Maths Exam Mastery course is designed for students preparing for final A-Level Mathematics examinations who need structured Easter revision with a strong focus on exam performance.

The course is particularly suitable for students who understand much of the syllabus but continue to lose marks in exam conditions, students who need clearer structure in their revision, and students who would benefit from guided practice on difficult questions in statistics, mechanics, and core mathematics.

It is also suitable for students aiming for higher grades who want to strengthen exam technique, accuracy, and speed before the final examinations.

The course may be especially useful for students who:

  • need focused revision in A-Level Mathematics during the Easter period

  • are losing marks through exam technique, incomplete working or misreading of questions

  • need targeted support in statistics or mechanics

  • benefit from small-group teaching and direct access to a specialist tutor

  • want structured past paper practice with feedback

  • are aiming to improve from B to A, or from A to A*

The course may be less suitable for students who require full long-term remediation across the entire A-Level syllabus beyond the scope of an Easter intensive, or students who are not yet ready to engage with regular independent work between sessions.

Two Teaching Tracks

Students are grouped according to the type of support they need.

Level 1 is intended for stronger students who need advanced exam practice, difficult questions and detailed discussion of how to maximise marks on higher-level papers.

Level 2 is intended for students who need fuller explanation of topics, worked examples, structured notes and guided practice before moving into exam-style questions.

How We Advise Families

Before confirming a place, ALBION will usually speak with the family to understand the student’s current level, exam board, areas of difficulty and revision priorities. This helps determine whether the course is appropriate and which teaching track is the better fit.
